SEO Note is a free tree notes manager for Windows (downloaded from this site). One local file: diary sections on the left, text on the right. No mandatory cloud, no adware in the official build. Hotkeys that matter in a diary: Insert for a child note, F2 to rename (date names like 2026-09-06 sort cleanly), file search when you dig for an old filter by the word “penalty.”

What to write — and what to leave out

• Write decisions and facts: “removed /blog/ pagination; watching five head terms.”
• Do not paste hosting passwords or a full analytics dump — a report link plus two sentences of takeaway is enough.
