Do I need wiki-links to connect notes in the tree? No. Nesting and naming are the linking mechanism: a child node inherits context from its parent. If you truly need cross-references, put the target node name in brackets inside the text and rely on Ctrl+F to jump.
How long does the weekly note review take? About fifteen minutes every Friday: glance at last week, promote useful ideas into permanent branches, and delete noise. Without a review the tree becomes a dump; with one it compounds monthly.
