Exam ticket tree + AI drills

Semester notes sprawl. Exam season needs something sharper: a list of tickets (or question cards), a short outline you can say out loud, and a pile of places you always blank. ChatGPT will cheerfully invent a confident answer that is not in your course. Useful for practice — dangerous as the only archive.

Three builds ship from this site. SEO Note 2.1 is the current one: an Electron app (about 121 MB installer) for Windows 10/11 64-bit and Linux x64, with Markdown, the tree editor, AI talking to a model you connect — a local one or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, a web clipper and git sync of the file. For Android 6.0 and newer there is a release-signed APK (~10 MB) of the same interface; on the phone notes live as a folder of Markdown files on the device, and passwords, sync, the clipper and AI answer there with an explicit refusal. The classic build 1.3.34 (~2.5 MB, Win32) stays on the download page for Windows 7, 8 and 32-bit PCs, where 2.1 does not install; its notes file is .seo. Pitfalls

• Letting the model’s fluent essay become the Outline without rewriting
• Generating 40 tickets of fluff instead of finishing 10 real ones

• Using AI as the first read of material you never opened

Limits

SEO Note will not remind you of exam dates or sync to a phone. Pair with a calendar you already use. It will not stop academic-integrity rules — you are responsible for what you submit. Broader privacy: what not to paste into AI.

How many exam tickets should I paste into the chat? One ticket is enough, or three related ones - pasting the whole semester vault for better context is not the idea.

Can I copy the model's answer straight into my outline? The outline stays yours, rewritten after any AI help; letting a fluent model essay stand unrevised is listed as a pitfall.

Can it remind me when my exams are due? It will not remind you of exam dates or sync to a phone, so pair the tree with a calendar you already use.

Is using AI to practice for exams an integrity risk? Nothing here stops academic-integrity rules - you are responsible for what you submit, and the model only sees what you paste.

What should I do the night before the exam? Mark the weak tickets, recite an outline without the chat, quiz only the weak ones with AI, log mistakes, then sleep.

Will SEO Note remind me of my exam date or open tickets from my phone? No: it will not remind you of exam dates, and the phone APK does not merge itself back into the desktop file — keep using your normal calendar. The APK has no AI at all; on the desktop the model is the one you connected, it runs only when you invoke it and sees only what you give it — the note, the excerpt, or a few notes the local search found. Academic rules remain your responsibility.
